What if one riding suit had to survive everything, from Arctic rain to Mediterranean heat?
The Richa Brutus Gore-Tex was pushed to its limits across Europe, and came back asking for more.
Preview – Richa Brutus Gore-Tex, One Suit for Every Climate
Motorcycle touring gear rarely gets tested the way it deserves. The Richa Brutus Gore-Tex suit, however, has been ridden from the cold, rain-soaked roads of Norway’s North Cape to the scorching, dusty heat of Sardinia. If a riding suit can survive that range of climates, it earns the right to be taken seriously.

First impressions matter, and the Brutus makes a strong one. Its light colour scheme and bold accents stand out in a sea of black riding gear, evoking adventure bikes like the Africa Twin or BMW’s GS Trophy machines. But style only goes so far. On the road, fit and comfort decide everything and after a bit of adjustment around waist, hips and arms, the suit feels tailor-made. So much so that the jacket often stays on long after the engine is switched off, doubling as a casual evening coat.

Comfort continues while riding. The Brutus remains light on the shoulders and free of pressure points, even after long days in the saddle. That makes a bigger difference than many riders realise, especially when fatigue starts to creep in.
"Total waterproofing, as always, remains a theoretical ideal zippers and vents will eventually let some water through but in heavy rain the Brutus performs admirably."
The suit’s all-round nature is one of its strongest assets. Both jacket and trousers feature removable thermal and waterproof Gore-Tex liners that can be worn either inside or over the outer layer. In cold and wet conditions, the inner liner proves especially effective. Total waterproofing, as always, remains a theoretical ideal zippers and vents will eventually let some water through but in heavy rain the Brutus performs admirably. On hot days, generous ventilation keeps airflow moving, turning potential discomfort into something manageable.

Versatility extends beyond climate. The Brutus pairs naturally with adventure bikes, but looks just as at home on sport-tourers and even with riding jeans on a naked or hybrid motorcycle. For short urban rides, the jacket alone offers a practical compromise between protection and convenience.

Storage is plentiful. With multiple exterior and interior pockets on both jacket and trousers, essentials like keys, phone, snacks and maps stay within easy reach, no tank bag required. Safety is handled by standard D3O Level 1 armour in shoulders, elbows and knees, with options to upgrade to Level 2 protection. A back protector, chest and hip armour can also be added, turning the suit into a serious protective shell without sacrificing comfort.

After more than a year and thousands of kilometres, wear is minimal. The white colour shows dirt more easily, and magnetic ventilation flaps leave faint marks, but these are aesthetic concerns rather than functional flaws. The Richa Brutus Gore-Tex isn’t cheap, but it proves a simple truth: when gear fits well, protects properly and adapts to every journey, it becomes part of the ride itself.
