During an early crash in India triggered by an unavoidable encounter with a cow the trousers absorbed the impact and slid across the asphalt without tearing. Despite the speed and surface, injuries were limited to minor scrapes. The trousers survived as well, damaged but still usable. It’s a real-world reminder that protection doesn’t have to come with a premium price tag.

After countless kilometres, dusty roads and varied climates, the suit remains in remarkably good condition. The darker colour scheme hides dirt well, making maintenance easy even without frequent washing. Comfort ultimately defines riding gear, and that’s where the Tanami II succeeds most convincingly. It stays out of the rider’s head. No pressure points, no constant adjustments just ride, even on long days.
